Cloudscape Hosted Events

Cloudscape hosts many of our own events, most taking place at Cloudscape HQ in South Memorial Park (click here for a map). These events include:

Weekly Meetings: Cloudscape hosts weekly social gatherings on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM that are open to all adults interested in drawing comics. At these meetings both aspiring and experienced comic artists can network, exchange ideas, and work on their projects in a supportive environment. Everyone is invited! Meetings are currently alternating between online and in person.

  • Online meetings are held via zoom. To be notified of upcoming online meetings, join our discord server.
  • In-person meetings are held at Cloudscape HQ. You can find the dates for in-person meetings in the event calendar above.

Life Drawing: We regularly invite artists out for a life drawing session where they can sketch a local model in various poses. Cost is $10 per person. Dates will be posted in the event calendar.

Cloudshops: Cloudscape members occasionally hosts free to attend workshops and lessons covering various comic making topics. Keep an eye on the calendar for any upcoming events.

Open Studio: For people who want more time at Cloudscape HQ, we also have open studio sessions where the building is open to anyone who wants to stop by and chat, write, draw, or otherwise get involved in local comics. Check the calendar for particular times.
