Cloudscape was founded on the idea of cartoonists getting out of their house and socializing in a public space, but unfortunately at this time, socializing in a public space has proven to be a danger to those with compromised immune systems, among others.
So it is with a heavy heart that we announce that Cloudscape HQ is no longer open to the public. Our weekly Wednesday meetings are canceled until further notice. Additionally, our public “Cloudshops”, open studio and Life Drawing are also suspended for the time being.
That said, if you’re still craving some social interaction, we encourage you to join the Cloudscape discord server where you can get feedback on your work, get updates on any open anthologies or job postings in the industry, show off your stuff, follow along with our blog posts, share any good comics you’ve read, or even just chat with other members.
When it becomes safe for public gatherings again, we will resume these activities. So expect a follow up post here when that occurs. We will also announce this on social media and on our event calendar.
