Cloudscape is a great organization to meet, connect, and collaborate with numerous fellow comic creators, and there’s similar organizations in many other places as well. For comic fans in the interior of BC, there’s the Okanagan Comic Arts Association. This organization is dedicated to “creation, community, and education” with regards to comics. They foster local cartoonists, artists, and writers as they pursue their craft by connecting creators, readers, retailers, and educators across the Okanagan Valley and working with schools and libraries to explore the potential comics have for young and developing readers.
