A reminder to everyone, this Saturday, April 25, is the Creative Ink Festival — a celebration of writers, readers, and artists featuring numerous workshops, presentations, and panels from a wide variety of professional authors and artists, including Danika Dinsmore, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Claude LaLumiere, Patrick Swenson, and many more. There will also be author readings, artist displays, a small-press expo, and Blue Pencil sessions where aspiring writers can get feedback on their writing from professionals. Expect a warm and welcoming environment where you learn more about your craft, network with people in the industry and make new connections! In particular, Cloudscape’s own Bevan Thomas will be giving a talk on how to write for comics. Stop by and say hello!
