Cos & Effect is Vancouver’s costume, cosplay and alternative fashion convention, about to enter its second year. It will take place August 24th to 26th at UBC. Once again Cos & Effect will have an artist alley including comics. Artist alley is the designated space at Cos & Effect for artists and creators to show off, promote, and sell their original creations. It is located at a central point on the convention grounds, and is a great environment to interact with attendees, as well as meet other artists. Artists are also encouraged to participate in community building events taking place within the artist alley, such as comic battles, comic jams, and the Paper Doll Fashion Contest. There are 40 x 8ft skirted tables available.
