Though the characters here have names like those from the Marvel Universe, in truth they are very different beings.
Since the beginning of time, there has been heroes and there has been villains. Some say that the modern age of heroes began on the eve of World War II, with the first appearance of the Human Torch. Indeed, it was she who formed the Liberators, that did so much to free Europe during that terrible time, and when she vanished, most of the other heroes vanished too. Then a new generation of superheroes began with the Sentinels of Liberty and the Human Torch appeared again to give them guidance and hope.
The Masters of the World, Iron Fist, the sinister Spider-Man. The world is full of villains, and desperately needs its heroes.
