The Creative Ink Festival launches on April 25th — a celebration of writers and artists featuring numerous workshops, presentations, and panels from a wide variety of professional authors and artists. There will also be author readings, artist displays, a small-press expo, and Blue Pencil sessions where aspiring writers can get feedback on their writing from professionals. Expect a warm and welcoming environment where you learn more about your craft, network with people in the industry and make new connections! Hi Everyone:
I am looking for an introductory workshop (3-5 days or more) in concession on comic book making. I have been a contemporary artist for 25 years and feel the comic book medium is just what I need for my artistic journey at this time.
If anyone knows of any such workshops (preferably from Nov – April when I can actually get time off work) in our realm of the world (BC, Western Canada, California, Arizona…..and the list goes on). I am in Victoria BC and know of the program at Camoson, but would like to take some lead in programs and keep my job for a while…..any and every bite of help would be appreciated.
Also if there are any folks in Victoria who are into comic book writing I would be totally interested in grabbing a coffee and chatting, if you are up to chatting with a novice 🙂
